İnsanoğlunu evrenin sonsuzluğu karşısında büyüleyen ve kendi varlığı üzerine düşünmesine imkân veren başlıca iki eylem vardır; bunlardan bir tanesi gökyüzünü izlemek, diğeri ise evrendeki tüm canlılığın kaynağı olan suyu ve ondan doğan çeşitliliğin sonsuzluğunu düşünmek. Projenin ana amacı da Rossacalegna gibi, hem engin bir vadi içerisinde yer alan hem de geçmişin izlerini bugüne taşıyan bir ortamda iki farklı sonsuzluğu bir araya getirerek ziyaretçilerin şehir ortamından uzakta uhrevi bir deneyim yaşayabileceği mekânlar yaratmaktır. Gözlem yaparken suyun yansımasını kullanmak aynı zamanda gözlemcilerin böylesi yüce duyguları hissetmelerine engel olabilecek teknolojik aracılardan kurtulmasını sağlıyor, iki sonsuzluğun arasında, geriye yalnızca insan kalıyor. Rossacalegna’nın ortaçağdan aurasına da uygun bir biçimde ziyaretçiler için gereğinden fazla teknolojiye veya ışığa maruz kalmadan, gökyüzü altında şehir hayatını bir kenarda bırakıp, sonsuzluğu ve yüceliği düşünebilecekleri bir ortam yaratılıyor.

Two major acts amaze humankind against the infinity of the universe and give them an opportunity to think about their own existence: The first is observing the sky and the second is thinking about the water; source of all the life in this universe and the very origin of endless diversity of life. By bringing these two infinities together in Rossaccalegna, which is the perfect place for such an experience thanks to its location and characteristics carrying the traces of previous eras to our day, the main purpose of the project is to create places where the visitors can experience an ethereal experience away from the city lights. Using the reflection of water for the observation also frees the observers from any technological mediator that could be an obstacle for them to feel the full extent of this spiritual ambiance. Between the two infinities, the observer is left all by himself and his thoughts. In harmony with Rossacalegna’s medieval aura, an archaic medium is created for the visitors to leave behind the city life and to think about the infinite and sublime without making them exposed to unnecessary amount of light and technology.
